i have done b.tech.now doing b.ed.will i be eligible for TET Eexam as i am not from BA/BSc background and TET eligibility is BA/BSc b.ed.

i have done b.tech information technology.now i want to do b.ed.Am i eligible for b.ed.And after doing b.ed, will i be eligible for TET Eexam as i am not from BA/BSc background and TET eligibility is BA/BSc(graduation) b.ed.Also what subjects should i opt as teaching subjects.plz help

    Hi,
    Having a BEd degree will no longer be enough to become a school teacher. Aspirants will now have to clear an eligibility test with at least 60% to be able to teach at any private or government school. The test will be conducted once a year, separately by State Govts and the Centre.
    TET will have two papers with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper I will be for those intending to become teachers for classes I-V. Paper II will be for those aspiring to teach between classes VI and VIII. Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear for both papers.
