I have done BE(Chemical) & a central Govt Employee.I m interested for UP PSC. I m facing problem to decide subjects for Pre as well as Main Exams. I m decided on chemistry as one subject but for second i have confusion. It may be Public Adm or Sociology. And which one for prelims.

Yes it is difficult for chemical engineers to give UPSC exam as chemical engineering is nt included in the list of subjects. So you need toc choose the subjects which come easily to you. Chemistry can be one of them but then not much chemistry is taught in chemical engineering after 1st year and you might not study well at graduation level course. Try to think out of the box and find out why can't you take some humanities subject which you can study separately for UPSC exam.
