I have done BE from ECE branch. Should I prepare for Physics in order to go for MTech PhD programme from Indian Institute of Astropysics?

I have done BE from Electronics and Communication branch. I want to join Integrated MTech PhD programme from Indian Institute of Astropysics. Is it mandatory for me to write IIA Screening Test? If yes, then should I prepare for Physics, though I am from ECE? What materials can I refer to prepare?
