I have done Bsc Biotech and want to pursue Msc biochemistry in Canada. Please tell me procedure and eligibility.

Hi i am in last year of B.Sc. Biotechnology in India..i wanna to do ma msc biochemistry in canada..can u tell me the procedure for applying there and eligibility to get admission over there..and please also tell me can i apply for degree directly or have to do diploma befre getting admission in msc

Hi Priti, since ur Bsc biotech is of 3 yrs, u first need to complete a 1 year PG diploma to cover the 16th year requirement as most of the universities in Canada require 16 yrs of education for MS biotech. You would also be required to take the GRE exam for the same

Hi, You have to pursue a 1 year diploma of 1 year duration 1st to make yourself eligible to pursue a degree in Canada due to the reason that your UG degree is a 3 year degree whereas the degree requirement by most Canadian Universities is a 4 year degree or equivalent.
