    Hi Rahul,
    Yes you can apply to Chemical Engineering program in lateral entry at LPU provided you are eligible.
    Its an Engineering program which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in chemical Engineering.
    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry or equivalent.

    Yes definitely you can apply for a lateral entry programme, here i am sharing the eligibility criteria of the programme with you i.e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) [3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2(Non-Medical)] or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry or equivalent.

    Yes, you are eligible for this course, but I would like to recommend B.Tech/BE through lateral entry (direct second year admission). For that, you have to appear for state LEET examination to get a good college.
    And, evening/distance/online/part time engineering courses are not valid any more as per the latest Supreme Court verdict, hence, I would recommend you to join regular B.Tech course for better career prospects.
