Hi, in case of Diploma courses the educational qualification is -
The Diploma must be recognised by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration. If you fulfill the mentioned conditions, you are definitely eligible for appearing in the CUET Exam.

CUET or Central University Entrance Exam is the national level combined entrance exam for the entrance in the prominent central universities of the nation. The educational qualification eligibility for the CUET (UG) is 12th Class. The Diploma in Engineering after the class 10th and 12th standard are equivalent. Based on this very fact, anyone having done the Diploma in ECE after class 10th is eligible for giving CUET examination.

The candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 Diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education, as per the CUCET UG eligibility criteria 2022.

Yes, NCERT is sufficient for conceptual clarity while preparing for CUET exam, but MCQ practice and CUET mock tests are important for scoring high. Students must not only focus on preparation books, they must solve CUET previous year question papers for Mathematics to know important topics or repeated questions.
