Hi Ashoka,
*** After Diploma in Mechanical Engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. After graduation you will have more opportunities open for you.

Since you are an Electronics graduate, you can go for SAP BASIS or SAP ABAP. However, the latter is preferable since it offers more dignified opportunities.
