I have done Eco Hons(56.4%) from DU.I have got a seat in MA in Environment&Development in Ambedkar University, Delhi.What's the scope of it?

I m also waiting for second list in other courses like MA Development Studies and MA Economics. And for second list from Madras school of Economics. But If I didnt get there I wana know if this course have any bright future? scope? Or else I should go for a job in bank?what is the better option?
