I have done M.A(Economics) with 53%
I have done M.A(Economics) with 53% .Now I want to prepare for UGC NET. But for that 55% marks are required.So pls suggest me what should I do.Should I go for M.A(Economics) with specialization for 55% marks or try for Mphil in economics .

Hi,
Candidates who have secured at least 55% in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC can write NET exam.
However, there is a relaxation for category students. (50%)
So you can go ahead with M.Phil Economics and then try for UGC NET. I would re

If you are eligible then prepare for NET. otherwise go for M.phil.
some universities are offering admission on the basis of entrance exam or some offering direct admission. these days colleges are offering admission you you can apply.
