I have done M.Com with 49%. Am I eligible for UGC NET test?

Hi, Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST, OBC- NCL, PwD) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from university recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. To be eligible for UGC NET 2019. No, you are not eligible for NET exam. Thanks.

Hello Krishan, UGC NET it is an entrance exam which is organized for those who want to get positions of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows at India's reputed universities. The UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA from December 2018, earlier it was organized by the CBSE. Candidates should have Masters degree to appear for the UGC NET exam with minimum 55% aggregate marks if they belong to General category or minimum 50% aggregate marks if they are from OBC/SC/ST/PwD category. Candidates who are in the qualifying year of the post-graduation can also apply for the NET exam. As you said, you have 49% in M.Com so you can't apply for the UGC NET exam.

If you want to apply for UGC NET, then you should go through the site of it, check the eligibility criteria first then take any sort of step.
