Yes, you can apply for an NTA ICAR PhD in Food Science Technology if you have an MSc in a related subject. The eligibility criteria for the PhD course is a master's degree in a related subject.

To be eligible for a PhD in India, you must have a master's degree from a government-recognized university through a full-time program. Correspondence master's degrees are generally not allowed for PhD admissions.

Some career options after an MSc in Biotechnology include:
    • Biomedical engineer
    • Senior biochemist
    • Senior medical scientist
    • Biological/clinical technician
    • Microbiologist
    • Process development scientist
    • Biomanufactu
