I have done MA in English from CMJ Shillong, Meghalaya in 2011 with 74% marks. Can I apply for B.Ed? Thanks.

    LPU NEST for B.Ed which is conducted by LPU. The eligibility criteria is to pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. Or, pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech or BE with specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. The candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level. 5% relaxation for SC/BC and other categories as applicable).

    Yes, you can. The eligibility criteria for this programme are as follows: Passed Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Science or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce with 50% marks.
    Or
    Passed B.Tech with 55% marks or B.E. with specialisation in Science and Mathematics.

    (The candidate should have studied the subject combination for at least three years at the Bachelor's level or two years at the Master's level)

    Yes, you can apply for B.Ed in LPU with an MA in English from CMJ Shillong, Meghalaya in 2011 with 74% marks. The eligibility criteria for B.Ed in LPU is as follows:

    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
    • Candidates who have a Master's degree or M.Phil. degree in any discipline,  are given preference.

    Since you have an MA in English with 74% marks, you meet the eligibility criteria for B.Ed in LPU. You can apply for B.Ed in LPU through the online application process.

    The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks. So, you can apply. Thanks.

    Hello,
    If you have completed the masters, you can apply for the Bachelor of Education Courses. Well, the minimum qualification to apply for this is Bachelor's program. The minimum eligibility to apply in the UGC NET and SET is doing post-graduation in any subject with minimum 55 % marks. (50 % marks for the reserved candidates)
    By the help of the Score card of NET Exam and SET, you can apply for teaching in the Colleges and Universities of India and other states.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is to pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST.     Yes, you can apply for B.Ed or integrated M.Ed in LPU or in other university/college. For admission, you will have to score high marks in entrance exam of LPU or the institute in which, you are seeking admission.
