I have done MA integrated (English) 5-year program and I have 57% overall, but 52 in Masters. Can I give UGC NET exam?

    The eligibility criteria of UGC NET 2024 is given below. 

    Eligibility criteria:

    1. Age: Maximum 30 years for JRF
    2. Age: No limit for Asst. Professor

    Education qualification: Master's degree in humanities and social sciences ( Including languages), Computer Science and applications, Electronics science, etc. with minimum of 55% marks from UGC recognised universities/ Institutions. 50% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender. 

    So 55% in Masters degree are mandatory if belongs to General category. So can't give UGC NET 2024.
