Hello, First of all, congratulations on completing Masters in Forestry. Let me give you some important details regarding UGC NET Exam. UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is an exam through which candidates are selected for the post of Assistant Professor in various colleges and institutions of India and Junior Research Fellowship is also awarded to the deserving candidates. As you have done Masters in forestry, it will be good to select environment Science as a UGC NET subject. It's the only subject which meets with the syllabus of forestry subject.

You are eligible to appear for UGC NET in Environmental Science as that is the closest subject to your branch.
