Yes, you can apply for NET Exam. The minimum qualification required to apply for this exam is post-graduation with 55% or 50% (based on your category in which you belong). So, before you apply, check your eligibility. You must have remembered that your age should not be more than 30 years for the JRF. And, if you are applying for lectureship then there is no upper age limit. -

Hello Admit, as you have completed your Masters in library Science you appear for the UGC NET Exam under Library & Information Services. Just qualifying the Post-Graduation is not enough you must fulfil the eligibility criteria under NTA:
1. The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33years LL. M. graduates), 35 years (SC/S/OBC/ Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor.
2. The minimum educational qualification requirement is that a candidate have completed their Post-Graduation with the minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). . -
