I have done Masters in Personnel Management. Am I eligible to take the NET exam? If yes, are there any coaching classes for this exam?

    Hello Leena,
    Yes, you can take UGC NET exam, if you have qualified the Masters' with minimum 55% aggregate marks. You can apply for the UGC NET Personnel Management or UGC NET Management. Because Personnel Management subject is also related to Management and according to the NET exam guidelines candidates can appear for the exam with the subject in which they have done their Masters or related to that. If you want to be appear for the JRF NET exam then you have to fulfill the age criteria also i.e. 30 years maximum age to apply. Reserved category aspirants get the relaxation of 5 years in age.     Yes leena you are eligible
    Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Master's Degree or equivalent from a recognised university in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam conducted by NTA.

    According to my views and experience, the minimum criteria for the NET exam is post-graduation, whether it is from any subject, you can be able to fill the NET exam after passing Masters in personal management, and for the classes of coaching, we can't prefer any names, because this site is for students only, not for promoting the coaching institutes.

    UGC NET Exam is conducted in the Management Subject for those who want to make career in the lectureship and Research field related to the Management field. If you have completed the Masters in the Management or Commerce you can prepare for the exam
    The NET Exam is conducted in two phases Paper 1 & Paper 2.

    Hello, yes, you are eligible to take the NET exam. The candidates who have completed the Master's degree can apply for the UGC NET Exam in their post-graduation subject.
