    Veterinary Microbiology is the subject you should appear for. According to the official notification, MVSc students are eligible for veterinary microbiology only.

    Hello Muzamil, According to the guidelines of NET exam, candidates can apply for the exam with the subject in which they have done their Masters. As per your Masters' subject, the best option for you is CSIR NET Life Sciences. To apply for the NET you should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in post graduation if you are from General/OBC category or minimum 50% aggregate marks if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category. If you want to apply for NET JRF then you also have to fulfil the age criteria I. e. maximum age limit is 28 years. SC/ST/PwD/OBC/Female candidates will get the 5 years age relaxation.
