Hi, yes Mass communication is an upcoming field not yet fully exposed, where you can have growth. As for placements are concerned, it is basically dependent on the alumni and other industry contacts of the institutes apart from regular visiting (guest) lectures from the industry stalwarts. If these activities are a part of the institutes curriculum, then for sure you can have a better chance of getting placed. Above mentioned points can also be considered as criteria for choosing better institute.

    Hi Ankit,
As you have already done your MBA in marketing and want to switch over to Mass Comm, as a friend I would suggest you to think about this decision again as changing your field will not be the right decision as you might have to start from the scratch.
But as you have asked this question, I would like to answer the question for you. Mass comm is a very broad field and has a lot to offer such as Journalism, Direction, Production, Advertising, PR etc. As it will be difficult for me to explain to you all its domains, I am providing you with the article links so that you get a clear picture of the Mass Comm fields.
