I have done my 12th this year with 55% but with a backlog in maths. Can I apply for B.Tech CSE?

I have got 6 marks in maths, 44 in physics, 47 in chemistry, 78 in English and 57 in biology in 12th.

    You can apply for B.Tech easily. You need 55% marks at least in 12th class at the time of placements. But some of the companies allow only those who had more than 60% marks in 12tha and 10th class. So You are eligible for applying in B.Tech CSE.

    Dear Aishwarya,
    You can if your marksheet mentions that you are pass. Also, you can not go for B.Tech branch that has Maths as its basic eligibility. You can go for a branch like Biotech, Food tech., etc. Where Maths is replaced by biology. Check out with some good universities like LPU, SRM, VIT, etc., offering various specializations in B.Tech. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.     For a B.Tech course, you have to secure at least 45% in PCM and a valid entrance score.
