I have done my +2 commerce with 84%. Can I get admission in LPU for B.Com?

Dear Sukhpal, First of all, I would say you have very good marks in the 12th class. With such marks, you can directly get admission to the B.Com programme at LPU. Moreover, you will get a scholarship as well based on these marks. I would recommend you visit the LPU website for more about eligibility and scholarships. Hi, Yes, you can get admission as well as scholarship. There are different courses in commerce in LPU. They are 1) B.Com 2) B.Com. (Management Accounting and International Finance ) 3) B.Com (Hons. ) 4) Dual Degree B.Com (Hons. ) MBA 5) Integrated B.Com-MBA For B.Com the eligibility is 50% in 10+2 with English. For the rest of the courses, the eligibility is 60% in 10+2 in English. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. The programme aims to build in students competent business acumen through advanced study of general subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Cost Accountancy, later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area. The curriculum involves intensive study, culminating with the completion of a research-based dissertation. The course may also include Practical/ workshops, technical and entrepreneurial projects as well as courses with exposure to cutting edge technologies. The programme has been designed to offer to eligible candidates specialisation in a wide range of managerial skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business. On inquiring, I came to know that LPU provides more than 250 programmes wherein B.Com is among one of them. Following are the courses: 1. B.Com 2. B.Com. (Hons. ) 3. B.Com. (Management Accounting and International Finance ) 4. Dual Degree B.Com. (Hons. ). MBA 5. Integrated B.Com. - MBA Commerce UG Programmes has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The programme focuses on Honours Elective courses along with regular B. Comcurriculum. Industry oriented courses like CMA, CIMA, ACCA are offered to the students along with regular B.Com curriculum so as to enhance employability. The eligibility varies from 50%-60% as for Honours and specialised programme the eligibility is little stringent. There is no test required to take admission in LPU but you can still appear in LPU NEST for scholarship. Apart from LPU NEST LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students on the following criteria: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2.
