I have done my B.Sc in maths and I want to pursue MA in geography. Am I eligible for NET exam or do I have to pursue B.Ed as well?

Yes, you are eligible for MA with NET exam and you should also do B.Ed.

Yes, you must need to do B.Ed for applying NET exam. NET is a qualifying exam for college lecturer and JRF also. But, basically it is a teaching job, so B.Ed is must to do.
