6 years agoYou have to complete BA and MA in English. After that, complete M.Phil and Ph.D in English language. You have to clear the NET lectureship exam in the same subject to become a lecturer in any college or university. -
To get the right breakthrough as a teacher/lecturer in English, you need to pursue BA and MA in English literature followed by B.Ed if you intend to teach in a school and Ph.D if you want to join as a lecturer in a college. In the meantime, you can explore opportunity as a teacher in a school on a temporary basis and start pursuing BA via correspondence. This will give you the benefits of teaching experience and once you complete your graduation in 2 years time you will be much better off on the career front.
