I always recommend aspiring psychologists to pursue regular course in psychology because psychology as a discipline involves learning from environment. Only studying from books will not help you much. You have to attend professor lectures, attend seminars/workshops, network people who are actually into this field (PhD Students, Research Scholar, seniors and Experts). You get this exposure only when you are enrolled in a regular psychology course.
