I have done my bcom can i do ma with english or history which is best for my career? also i want to prepare for civil services.

Dear Diksha,
In my views after B.com, M.A in English will be more favorable than history. M. A. in English will open great career opportunities after masters you are eligible for govt. as well as private sector jobs.
But on other hand if you start preparing for IAS, than a aspiring career is await

You can do English only.You can not go for History.English is good for a job as well as for IAS.It opens door as a Library Language for many subjects.
