Dear Preeti, Distance Education B.Tech is not recognized as per the guidelines of AICTE and UGC. You can join as a lateral entry student in second year B.Tech CSE in any University or reputed College as a regular program.

AICTE doesn't recognise B.Tech done through distance mode. But in a recent order, SC decided to recognise B.Tech Civil Engineering by IGNOU. You should wait and see if it would be the same for other colleges.

Distance education isn't a good idea. Please abstain yourself from doing distance B.Tech.
