I have done my Diploma in automobile engineering. Can I take admission in any distance learning college for B.Tech?

    You can not do distance B.Tech as of now because of the Supreme Courts Order. However, you can do B.Tech equivalent course from AMIE. Keep in mind that doing AMIE will make you eligible to pursue M.Tech and apply for government jobs. Other then that it doesn't help much.

    Dear Sahil,
    AICTE doesn't recognise these courses. So, please note that no university recognized by Government of India and UGC offer this course. The matter is under the consideration of UGC to allow the universities to offer the graduation and post gradation courses in technical education. If you do any such unrecognized course, you won't be deemed eligible for government jobs and higher education.

    Hello Sahil,
    Distance learning for B.Tech or BE is presently banned in India. If anybody is advertising then it's a sham. I would strongly advise you to not even think of it.
