I have done my Diploma in CSE from LPU and want a lateral entry in automobile engineering from this university. Is this possible or not?

    Yes, it is definitely possible. Apply for it and the usual procedure will be followed from LPUNEST, then fee submission followed by in campus formal documentation. Still, you have given two years to CSE, take your decision wisely before switching the branch.
  • Dear Student,
    If you qualify below written criteria then you can take admission. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2(Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
    Or
    In case, marks scored in Diploma (Engg.), B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST will be exempted and the candidate may apply for admission. If you have 60% or above in any Diploma and you qualify NEST, then you can take admission.
