    Congratulations on completing Diploma.
    Now, you can wait for direct second year admission rounds to start. Once they start you can directly apply. Make sure to have a good academic record to an admission into a government college.

    Yes, you can go for B.Tech in Government College, either on the basis of your entrance exam performance or with the help of lateral entry.

    Government college of Engineering-Amaravati takes admission through state conducted entrance exam and also has provision for lateral entry for diploma holders. Government colleges are quite hard to get so give your best in exams.
