I have done my Diploma in mechanical engineering & want to do B.Tech in biotechnology. Is it a good course for future?

    Generally similar stream will be offered for B.Tech for Diploma students as studied in Diploma. However, B.Tech Biotechnology basically deals with basic engineering concepts which are applied in chemical engineering and applied Biology. B.Tech Biotechnology Syllabus also deals with methods for environmental conservation, medicines, health along with technology. So changing the stream in B.Tech course is not recommendable.
