I have done my M.Sc and pursuing B.Ed. What should I do to become a TGT teacher?

Hello Amita,
Many candidates in the teaching field are confused with B.Ed, TGT and PGT qualifications. Such is the case with you as well. Therefore, here I clarify each of them:
B.Ed (Bachelor of education) - This course is done by students who are a graduate, and would like to take up teaching in schools/colleges. The minimum duration of the course is 2-years.
TGT & PGT are titles and not courses. There are courses that are called TGT courses like B.Ed is a TGT course.
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) - This means, you are a graduate, who is trained in teaching. If you clear your B.Ed, then you already become a TGT. So no need to do TGT i...more
