I have done my MA in education. Am I eligible for UGC NET exam?

  • Yes, you are eligible as you are post graduate. You have to just pass in NET exam.

    Aspirants who pursued master's degree in Education can apply for UGC NET Education subject. This is the minimum eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test. If you are applying for UGC NET for JRF then the age limit is 30 years. But if you want to apply for Lectureship then there is no age limit.     Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET exam, as you have done Masters' in Education. But make sure you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General category) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD category). In UGC NET exam you can appear only on the basis of your post-graduation courses. So, you can apply in Education for UGC NET Exam.

    Yes, you are eligible. You need to have completed post-graduation with at least 55% of marks from a recognised university.
    For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the minimum age limit is 19 years and there is no maximum age limit for lectureship candidates there is no age limits.
