I have done my MA in Hindi with 49.5% under SC category. Am I eligible for UGC NET and PhD?

Hello LAV, Sorry to say, you are not eligible for NET exam. The criteria for NET for SC category candidates is minimum 50% in Masters without rounding off. You have an option to do doctorate from any institutions, then make yourself eligible for NET exam. All the best for your future.

Hi Lav, The minimum eligibility to appear for UGC NET exam is post-graduation degree with 55% marks for general category candidates. No, you are not eligible. For UGC NET, 50% for reserved category and 55% for unreserved category is the minimum percentage criteria.
