I have done my MBA and I am interested in teaching, should I go for Ph.D. in Management. I am looking forward with LPU.

The course is about discretion about IPR including patents, copyrights, design registration, and their filing, publishing, and granting. This will describe the types of research, various terminologies used during the research, and the design of the research. This course will also give brief information about various intellectual property rights. The course covers different ways of writing and presentation of research including a research paper, research proposal, State of Art Seminar, etc. Applicants who qualify UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE/ GPAT score card/ ICAR (NET), SPM, Teacher Fellowship holder or passed M.Phil. (in regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) entrance test (GATE/ GPAT score should be valid at the time of admission). The final selection for admission in Ph.D. is based on the performance in Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview. However, if anyone is exempted from the LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) entrance test instead of the above-mentioned tests, then 100% weightage will be given to the Interview only. Unless otherwise specified by the University, the medium of instruction, course work, examination, question paper, synopsis, and the thesis will be English in all cases. Highlights Teaching fellowship of Rs.15600/- per month may be provided to full-time Ph.D. scholars subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

It's a good decision, if you want to pursue your career as lecturer. As most of the organisation prefer Ph.D. candidate. LPU offer Ph.D. management in full time as well as part time. If you are working in organisation, then you can pursue your course in part time, by submitting NOC from your organisation. Both part-time and full-time have same duration of minimum of 3years and maximum of 6 year (2 year extra relaxation for female candidate). Eligibility of Ph.D. in LPU: 55% marks in master's degree, with LPU NEST and interview. Admission Criteria: 1. Eligible candidate will be short listed for interview, if they cleared the LPU NEST exam. 2. Final selection will be based on performance in Entrance test (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage), for those, who qualified the interview. Benefit for full-time is you may get teaching fellowship of INR 15600/- per month, if you satisfy the eligibility criteria Benefit for part-time is you get Flexi-Course work option. Options are: 1. One of my senior friends has done MBA and he has taken the decision to pursue Ph.D. from the same university in management he said it is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of management Science and LPU has the best group of faculty members for this programme. The degree was designed for those seeking academic research and teaching careers as faculty or professors in the study of management at business schools worldwide. This course allows students to obtain skills and knowledge for getting good positions in a wide range of organizations. In this course, they equip students to understand how they have to manage in organizations, how organizations work and how they should interact with local and national organizations. LPU does provide Ph.D. in management both in a Full Time mode & a Part time mode. In Case of Ph.D. Part-Time programme, applicants are required to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Admission in Ph.D. Programme will be made through LPUNEST (Entrance Test) followed by interview. Date for entrance test will be announced on university website. 2 Students qualifying in written test will be called for interview (Detailed Schedule of an Interview after result of written test will be communicated).
