I have done my MBA in HR from University of Pune. Which subject should I choose in paper 2 of UGC NET? Can I take sociology?

    Hello Pakeeza, No, you are not eligible for Sociology because you have completed your Masters in Human resource, so you can appear in UGC NET Management or HR. Besides this eligibility you need to fulfil the other criteria too. NTA divides the eligibility criteria into two parts:
    1. The educational criteria I. e. to secure minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender) in your Post Graduation.
    2. Along with the educational qualification criteria, you must fulfil the age criteria I. e. The maximum age limit to appear for JRF is 30 years (general category), 33years LL. M. aspirants), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female c
