I have done PGDBA from SCDL Pune. Is my PGDBA not equivalent to MBA? The university is denying so.

PGDBA Is equivalent to MBA in only industry point of view, but it cannot be used for obtaining any higher doctorate degrees like Ph.D. Generally, the institutes like ISB, Iims, IIPM are not given the authority to give degrees, award their students with PGDBA, PGP, PGDBM etc.
