i have done three year diploma in electrical engineering, want to do BTech in distance mode. sujjest me.i am in job in BHEL. pavas

Currently i am working in BHEL (A govt undertaking) as a Asst Engineer. I want to do B Tech in electrical engineering in distance mode. Is there any college or university for doing the same.

    Hi Pavas,
    Yes sure, you can do B.tech while working. You can join B.tech as part time course.You will be given direct entry to second year of B.tech as you have done with Diploma. It will be a great advantage for you,because you can increase your experience of job and side by side you can do B.tech.After the completion of your B.tech you will be having B.tech degree and 3 years of work experience also.So you will be preffered more by the Companies due to your Work experience.
    There are many Universities in India which provides Part time B.tech courses.Some of them are as follows:
    1.Indira Gandhi National Open University.
    2.Sikkim Manipal

    You can do B.Tech from IGNOU, Amity School of Distance Learning, Rai, JNTU, Andhra, SRM University, etc.

    Try with Punjab Technical University's study center in your area. They have distance B.Tech.
