    Hi,
On basis of your Diploma, you will be eligible for Lateral entry in Mechanical engineering. B.Sc. Aviation is a different field, however if your marks are good, some universities may offer you the admission in the first year of B.Sc. I will however suggest you to stick to your core studies of engineering, changing the career midway is a risky proposition. At LPU, you need to score above 60 % in Diploma for eligibility. You must visit www.admission.lpu.in for full details.

    Hi,
If I give you ab honest suggestion you should go for B.Tech Mechanical as you would get lateral entry directly into the second year of B.Tech where you can choose your specialisation. Of course if you want to go for B.Sc. Aviation then you will have to start from the first year of B.Sc. And no year saving. There are many universities which would offer scholarship. But you need a college which would cater to your all round development. The name that comes to me first is LPU which carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy o

Hi Dear, I have observed that you are a very notorious mind. My dear Aviation studies are quite different from Mechanical engineering. If you are already Diploma engineer in mechanical stream you can easily get admission in B.Tech mechanical engineering through lateral entry. That means you will be getting a direct admission into the second year of B.Tech programme. Now the question arises from where it has to be done. I don't know from where you have pursued your Diploma engineering. But being an education consultant I would advise you to pursue your b tech lateral entry from any best and premium Institute of India. For example Lovely

On the basis of Diploma Engineering course, you can join B.Tech Lateral courses as per your Diploma stream. While for B.Sc. Aviation the eligibility criteria is 12th with Physics and mathematics. Hence you can apply for B.Tech lateral course only.
