Hello Jaya lakshmi, Archeologist is reputed and respected job in india and abroad too. Eligiblity criteria is HSC passed in any stream some colleges prefer History as mandatory subject in HSC If you are determinate to become an archaeologist then pursue B.A. Hons/B.A archaeology from top ten college
