Hi Surya, Basic eligibility to apply for PhD is: Aspirants must have Masters degree in the relevant discipline with a first class or a minimum of 60% marks or a C.P.I. of 6.5 or equivalent. After graduation one cannot apply for PhD as it does not fulfill the minimum eligibility required for it. S
