    If a candidate has forgotten his/her CUET application number, it can be retrieved by following the steps below:

    • Check registered email ID and phone number for SMS as It includes CUET application form number on successful registration.
    • Check the saved page of CUET application form. or,
    • Candidates may contact at NTA to know their CUET application form number.

    After getting the CUET application number, students must ensure to note it somewhere for future login process. CUET application form number is required to login and download the admit card or results when released.

    The following techniques can help you get your CUET application number back if you can't remember it:

     • Verify the phone number and email address you registered for SMS. Your CUET application form number will be included upon a successful registration.

    • Examine the CUET application form's stored page.

     • To find out your CUET application form number, get in touch with NTA. You need to write down your CUET application number for future login procedures as soon as you receive it. In order to log in and get the admit card or results upon release, you must have your CUET application form number.

  • If you have forgotten your CUET application number, it can be retrieved by the following methods:

    • Check your registered email ID and phone number for SMS. It will include your CUET application form number on sucessfull registration.

For Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 exam, candidates who have passed class 12th exam or are appearing for final examinations will be eligible to apply for CUET exam. National Testing Agency has not introduced any specific changes for CUET UG 2026. However, in CUET 2025, NTA introduced major changes like

  • Reduction of CUET subjects from 63 to 37
  • GAT scores will be used for dropped subjects
  • Exma to be held CBT mode only
  • Compulsory 50 questions in each subject, no optional questions
  • Maximum five CUET subjects can be chosen 

The above changes are to continued for CUET UG 2026 exam.

Candidates can apply for CUET exam 2026 in first week of March 2026. NTA will release the CUET application form 2026 online at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must make sure to register for CUET exam and select appropriate CUET subjects to be eligible for admissions.
