I have given my 12th board in 2013-14, i want to make my career relatd to biology. i hav a option of bio technology. should i go for it?

I am quiet comfortable with my biology. rather than any other subjects. im preparing for my aipmt exams as well as cet 2014. but what other options can i go for specialised degree. or should i continue wid bio technology. hav it got well scope in future? Is b.tech n biotechlgy the same?Please help.!
