In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech in various branches. They have their different criteria for admissions. You have secured a good rank in the entrance examination. There are good chances for you to get admission in government colleges for B.Tech, all you need to do is check out the last year's cut-off of every college you are interested in also look out for the branch cut-off so that you can easily make your mind about choosing the college and the branch you are interested in.
