I have got 185 marks and 8700 rank under OBC quota in JEE paper 2. Can I get admission in any NIT?

Hello dear, your rank is decent. There are chances for NITs. All things will be clear tomorrow.

You can get VNIT but not NIT-Rourkela as getting there is quite difficult, according to last year admission score.

It's difficult for you to get a seat in NIT as for OBC category you need 190+ marks.

Yes, you can get into NIT Rourkela for mechanical, chemical or civil branch. Try for mining and metallurgy in NIT Warangal or CSE in NIT's such as Jaipur and Bhopal.
