I have got 1959 General rank in UPSEE LEET. Can I get any government college for mechanical engineering?

Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech ME. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of LEET scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your previous qualification. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in previous qualification or LEET or even during the course. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have a wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. IET-Lucknow is one of the most premium institutes for B.Tech. It is difficult to get admission in mechanical engineering in IET but you can go for other government colleges check the last year's cut-off, the opening and closing rank of the colleges and I think you will get admission in government college.
