I have got 45% in B.Com after scoring 50% in M.Com, am I eligible for CAT?
-
Hi Akshat, Yes, you are eligible. Here is the eligibility criterion for this year:
According to CAT 2018 eligibility, a candidate is eligible to appear in CAT 2018, if he/she holds Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Able (DA) categories need only 45% marks. -
Yes, you are eligible for it, only thing is you won't be able to apply for B schools whose criteria is 50% and up in graduations.
-
You are eligible for CAT, but cannot get through the 50 percent requirement by the business schools.
-
I don't think so any top universities takes you because bitter truth is that you have less percentage.
-
You can appear for CAT, but you will not get a call from any good B-School as they require at least 50% marks in graduation.

You are eligible only if you are either SC or ST. Otherwise, for general category, students the minimum percentage requirement in graduation is 50%.
