I have got 58% in board exam of CBSE. Am I eligible for JEE?

Hi Neeraj,
Based on the official information by MHRE, JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the class 12th examination.
If you are talking about class 12th board, then there will not be any chance as per the latest criteria.
You can try some other state level exams. All the best. -
Yes, you can give JEE exam but you are not eligible for IITs /NIITs.
The candidate must have obtained 75% in the 10+2 examination or be in the top 20 scorers of 10+2 examinations of the respective board of examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/biotechnology/biology/ technical vocational subject.
