You should pursue B.Sc rather than dropping a year. B.Sc has a good scope too.

By appearing in JEE Mains if you wish for NIT or IIT then your percentage is not at par with the expected score. So, if you want to get any other state government college then drop a year and prepare for JEE Mains or else B.Sc can be a good option.

Hello Falgun, Nothing is achieved in life without attempting something. I would advise you to take a break, study hard and appear again next year. The worst outcome will be that you lose only one year, but if you succeed then? Best wishes.

Hi, I truly think you should go for B.Sc. There is no point dropping and wasting a year of precious time for anything. It would be a good choice to do B.Sc. And excel in that rather than running after something which will fetch no good outcome in future. All the best.
