I have got 7.8 CGPA in 10th and 51.6% marks in 12th. Can I pursue MBA from IIM if I qualify CAT exam?

Hello Jyotishekhar,
First thing, there is nothing like qualifying CAT. CAT is an exam which will give you a percentile Score, which further will be used by MBA colleges like IIMs for shortlisting the students, but CAT score will not be the only parameter for shortlisting different colleges will have different criterion(like job experience, 10th and 12th marks) for that you will have to refer to the websites of the particular college and you will have to apply in different colleges separately and then those colleges will conduct interviews of the shortlisted candidates and then will announce the list of students who can take admissions...more -
Yes, you can pursue MBA from IIMs as they are concerned mainly with CAT percentile.

Hi dear,
You can qualify for CAT, if you ensure you are getting 60 percent in your graduation. A weight is given to profile i.e class 10th, class 12th and graduation marks. So, ensure getting a really high score in graduation and go for some work experience. Then, try and get 98+ percentile in CAT. It will help you crack IIMS. -
