I have got 75 marks in JEE Mains and 71% in 12th and I belong to general category. Can I get admission in any of the NITs?

No, you have to get some sort of marks in JEE Mains. You need to score 150+ to get NIT from general category. You can try for Government College, Semi Government College, and top private college.

Sorry friend, You are not eligible for NITs, as your marks are very low for NITs, and you belong to the general category. Anyway, give Advanced exam if cleared then very good and if not then go for state-level counselling and for private colleges. Best wishes to you.

The chances are rare. The cut-off score is 74 and your marks are 75. So, expecting to get an NIT won't be entirely a good idea.
