You should take admission in a private college rather than dropping a year.

If you think that you can crack JEE Mains next time then drop a year, otherwise, you can take private college.

If you are passionate about your aim of joining IITs,m NITs or government colleges, you can drop a year and join a coaching class. If you are not sure about passing it again, I mean if you cannot pass next time with good marks, you are going to waste a year. So, in this, case you can take admission in any private college. You can take GATE after completing UG adn pursue Master's degree from a reputed college.

Well, if you really want to enter into an NIT, IIT or any well-reputed government college then you should drop a year or else join a private college with a good reputation.

If you think that you can crack JEE Mains then you should drop a year. Your 12th percentage and marks are not good enough to get a good college. You should drop a year if you think you can crack the exam. You have to work very hard. Give your best.
    Don't lose hope.

Obviously, if you are sure that you can clear JEE Mains in the next try, you should drop a year, but if you are in hesitant then don't waste your precious year.

If you think you can study hard and crack the exam next year than only take a drop, otherwise, go for private colleges, because there is no use of taking a drop and wasting your one year if you are not ready to study hard.

    Hello,
If you have confidence that you can take drop and study better and get good marks, then only I suggest you to take drop. Otherwise I suggest you to take private college and continue your studies.
    All the best.

It would be better if you opted for a private college. Preparing for JEE is a hard task and requires massive effort and dedication. Look for a good college and you will be able to shape your career.
